Here for sale we have a Patrick Eggle Berlin electric guitar. Built in the UK this model marks the 10th anniversary of the Berlin Model. This guitar features a set-neck construction featuring a Mahogany body with Carved Flame Maple cap, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include a Wilkinson bridge and sperzel tuning machines. A pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers are fitted and wired to a 3-way pickup selector, Master Volume and 3-Way Rotary Coil Split.
The Mahogany neck plays beautifully, with a profile which might be described as a 'C' shape. This is well suited to a wide range of playing styles and techniques, and provides a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. Whilst certainly on the slimmer side, the neck refrains from feeling too thin; retaining a pleasant character and inspiring confidence in your grip. The Ebony of the fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius is practical for rhythm parts, lead lines and string bending alike. The carved top and generous body contours enhance comfort, ensuring that long gigs and playing sessions are a breeze.
The Dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers sound thick and full, with a solid low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with a clear, articulate top end. The simple control layout provides a comprehensive control of your tone without being intrusive, with the 3-way rotary coil split allowing you to select either the outer/inner coils, along with the full humbuckers in the middle position, this is a great way to access single coil-esque tones, with plenty of voicings to choose from.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the headstock demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. The very tip of the rear face edge demonstrates light indentation that has not removed the finish to reveal the wood beneath, but has left a white scuff mark that could not be removed during our cleaning process.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. A small finish imperfection is apparent to the rear of the neck at the treble side of the 15th fret. This is beneath the finish so cannot be felt by the fingertip on inspection or in the playing position. Any other markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/32" hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light scratching is apparent on the volume/tone controls.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Overall very good condition. The outer displays notable signs of previous use, most notably some white paint transfer to the bottom. The inner lining is near flawless, but please note the accessory compartment lid has come unglued slightly, which does not effect its functionality.
