Here for sale we have a Nik Huber Guitars Dolphin II Electric Guitar in Faded Sunburst finish. Since the company was started in 1996, Nik Huber's guitar company has gone from strength to strength with its small team of luthiers handcrafting every instrument to be better than the last. Nik Huber Guitars are known for their playability, dynamic touch sensitivity, and high-end craftsmanship, so it's easy to see why there is such a long waiting list to order one!

Made in October 2001 in Germany, this set-neck guitar consists of a 1-piece South American Mahogany body with a Swiss Curly Maple top, a 1-piece African Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret East Indian Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Medium Jumbo Extra Hard frets, a Polished Bone nut, Schaller M6 Mini tuners with Ebony buttons, a Nik Huber Adjustable Stoptail bridge, Abalone dot inlays, and a Mother of Pearl Dolphin headstock inlay. The pickups installed on this guitar are a Vin Humbucker in the neck position, and a Vin+ Humbucker in the bridge position. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone (push/pull coil split), and a three-way pickup selector.

The 1-piece African Mahogany neck sits beautifully in the hand, with the ‘Dolphin Standard' neck profile and gloss finish providing a smooth and articulate playing experience up and down the neck. The East Indian Rosewood fingerboard is supremely pleasant to the touch and further enhances the luxurious playing experience that this guitar offers. The 10"-14" compound radius and Medium Jumbo Extra Hard frets provide a smooth and consistent playing surface right the way up the register, whilst assisting with vibrato and string bending techniques. The slightly sculpted lower horn ensures that access to the upper frets is uninhibited.

The pair of Haeussel Vin humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, with plenty of switching options to ensure versatility. The Vin in the neck position is warm and round, and delivers plenty of power to push those lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The Vin+ bridge pickup is brighter, and can handle serious amounts of gain for a saturated rhythm guitar sound on your riffs and power chords. The addition of the push/pull coil split provides great versatility, perfect for crisp, sparkling clean tones.

Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.

    Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentations are present to the all aspects of the headstock, the most apparent of these can be seen to the treble side edge near the G tuning machines, this has lightly exposed the wood beneath. All other indentations have not broken through the finish but have caused light delamination, this is most apparent to the rear face by the signature. Light scratching is present to all aspects of the headstock with the most apparent being seen to the bass side edge near the low E tuning machines, these can only be seen under direct light.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present across the rear of the neck, these have caused light delamination of the lacquer. A mild chip to the finish is also present to the rear of the neck, this can be felt at the 13th fret.

Body: Overall very good condition. The finish to the rear of the body display light 'clouding' of the lacquer, this can be seen from certain angles. Light indentations are present to the all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the rear face and is consistent with light buckle rash, these can be seen under direct light. Light delamination of the lacquer can be seen scattered throughout the rear face, the most prominent of these have lightly chipped away the finish. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes
