Here for sale we have a National Delphi Resonator Acoustic Guitar in Grey Powder finish. Made in the USA in 1998, this guitar consists of a steel body, a Mahogany neck, and a 19-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a National Hot Rod-style cone, a maple biscuit bridge and saddle, medium-sized frets, and a set of 3-and-3 vintage-style open-gear tuners.

The Mahogany neck plays well, with an unmistakable "V" neck profile. This profile is well suited to a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its traditional 15.75" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The smooth lines of the body are comfortable in the arms, with a reassuring weight to the body which provides a sense of dependability and substance to the playing experience.

The tone of the Delphi is unmistakably 'resonator', delivering those early blues sounds that we know and love. There is plenty of dynamic range on offer, rewarding gentle picking with a soft and intimate tone, whilst strumming more firmly delivers plenty of power to help you be heard over the rest of the band. The instrument's voice really shines through when playing delta blues styles with a slide, offering an authentic playing experience and tone, with powerful low end and singing mids. The voice is full-bodied, offering a wide and dynamic tonal range which is just as at home as a solo instrument as it is as part of an ensemble.

Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
