Here for sale we have No.14 of 50 Music Man Tim Commerford Short Scale Active Stingray electric bass in Gloss Natural finish. This bass features an Ash body, bolt-on Maple neck and 22 fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include Custom MusicMan tuning machines and string-thru-body bridge with adjustable mutes for each string. A single humbucker with neodymium magnets if fitted next to a finger ramp. This is wired to active electronics that include a master volume and a 3-band EQ.
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile that might be described as a moderately-sized 'C' shape which sits comfortably in the hand and provides a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The Satin finish to the rear assists with slick navigation of the 30" scale, and along with the generous cutaways ensures that access to the upper frets is a breeze.
