Here for sale we have a Martin DRSGT Electro-Acoustic Guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in Mexico in 2014, this guitar is part of Martin's popular 'Road Series' of guitars. Aimed at players who want the beauty & tone of a Martin guitar which is ready for life on the road at a more affordable price than their high-end models. A set-neck construction is employed and comprises a Solid Spruce top, Solid Sapele back & sides, A-Frame 'X-1' bracing, Sipo neck and 20 fret Richlite fingerboard with matching bridge. A white Tusq saddle & nut are fitted along with a set of Chrome Martin sealed tuning machines. A Fishman Sonitone USB pickup system is installed, with discrete soundhole mounted controls for master volume & tone.
The Sipo neck plays very well, with the ‘Modified Low Oval’ profile that fills the hand nicely whilst retaining a slim feel. This offers comfortable fretting in all registers and a smooth, responsive playing experience in all fingerboard positions. The Richlite fingerboard feels smooth to the touch, and with the 16" radius is traditional for Martin whilst also being practical for a wide range of playing styles and genres. The Dreadnought body shape is comfortable in the arms as ever, working equally well in both standing and seated positions.
The voice of this guitar is snappy and detailed, with the Solid Sapele back and sides producing a mellow but responsive midrange. The Sitka Spruce top delivers a balanced, seasoned tone with plenty of low end power and warm detail. The understated high end of this guitar remains detailed but subtle, adding unique character to the tone. The A-Frame "X-1" bracing design results in more flexibility for the top to resonate, delivering more volume and a well-defined and full-bodied tone. This makes the instrument perfect for a singer songwriter. The Fishman Sonitone under-saddle pickup system captures the natural voice of the guitar faithfully, and allows the true voice of the guitar to be amplified or more easily recorded in the studio. The guitar also features a USB port which allows you to plug the guitar directly into your computer for recording.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edge demonstrates moderate indentation which pierces the finish slightly and is slightly visible from the front edge.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates very light indentations which can be very slightly felt under the thumb in playing position. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has worn to a light gloss through regular use. This has left a slightly sticky texture.
Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates some indentations to the lower bout, one of these piercing the finish slightly towards the bass side edge. Under some lighting the top appears slightly hazy in patches, however this is difficult to discern and requires specific lighting and angles. The pickguard shows mild scratching consistent with playwear.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with some light indentation in the early register not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future fretwork the new owner may wish to perform.
