Here for sale we have a Martin DC-X2E Dreadnought Electro Acoustic Guitar in Natural Satin finish. Made in Mexico in 2019, this guitar consists of a Spruce top, Macassar Ebony HPL back and sides, a Select Hardwood neck, and a 20-fret Granadillo fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Chrome hardware and a Fishman MX electronics which features a volume and tone control on the inside of the pickup.
The Select Hardwood neck plays extremely well, with Martin's Performing Artist neck profile feeling nicely thin in the hand allowing for a fluid and responsive playing experience in all registers. The satin finish to the rear of the neck provides easy and comfortable thumb placements. The classic dreadnought shape delivers a comfortable playing experience in both seated and standing positions, and provides the player with a lively and responsive feel.
The Sitka Spruce top and Macassar Ebony HPL back and sides provide a clear and open voice to the instrument. A rounded bottom end is present in the tone, with clarity to the trebles making the voicing very well balanced whilst also being able to distinguish individual notes. The Fishman pickup system does a great job of interpreting the tone of the guitar, with simple and intuitive controls for volume and tone, mounted in the sound hole for discreet control.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The rear face edge demonstrates small indentations to the top edge and near the G string tuning peg. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Consistent mild to moderate scratching and indentation is apparent to the neck heel. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. A small indentation is apparent to the bass side lower bout edge, this has not removed the finish to reveal the wood beneath. The treble side of the lower bout side panel demonstrates a small mark.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and excellent condition.
