Here for sale we have an absolutely stunning Martin 000-28 Acoustic Guitar in Gloss Natural finish. A dream guitar for many players, this instrument was made in Nazareth, USA in 2006 and features an all-solid construction comprising a Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, Select Hardwood neck and 20 fret Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. The body is double bound in Antique White, with multi-stripe top purfling and rosette along with a very handsome back strip in 'Post-War 25' pattern. The fingerboard is inlaid with the real Mother of Pearl in Martin's 'Long Pattern'.
The Select Hardwood neck plays exceptionally well, with what might be described as a 'rounded' profile that feels very comfortable in the hand and allows for effortless reach across the fretboard. The Ebony fingerboard is supremely pleasant under the fingers, and along with the Mother of Pearl inlays adds a real sense of luxury to the playing experience. The traditional 16" radius ensures a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for fingerstyle and lead lines. The 000 body size sits very comfortably in the arms whilst providing a lively, resonant yet intimate playing experience that is very rewarding and inspiring.
The voice of the Martin 000-28 is nothing short of exquisite. Sitting comfortably between a Parlor and Dreadnought, the 000 body size is renowned for being supremely well-balanced. Lows are rich yet understated, the mid range is clear and the highs are bright and glistening. This all adds up to a beautiful and unmistakable tone that is equally at home as a solo instrument or as part of an ensemble. The all-solid construction ensures a beautiful resonance which delivers a wide and sensitive dynamic range, encompassing both elegant intricate passages and powerful chordal sections. An excellent example of one of Martin's finest instruments.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition, a small indentation can be identified to the rear treble side edge towards the high E tuner.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates very light scratching and indentation throughout the register, difficult to discern beneath the thumb. The fingerboard demonstrates some playwear with frets 1-12, somewhat difficult to discern against the natural grain and cannot be felt beneath the string.
Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates light indentation and scratching along the lower bout, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. A similar indentation is apparent beside the treble side of the fingerboard extension. The sides and rear demonstrate very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with some light indentation in the early register. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
