Here for sale we have a Manson Meta Series MBM-1 Matt Bellamy Signature guitar in Starlight Silver finish. Produced under licence by Cort, this instrument was made in Indonesia in 2020 to more closely represent the guitars played by Bellamy on stage with MUSE. This guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Canadian Hard Maple neck and 22 fret Indian Laurel fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Chrome hardware including a Tune-O-Matic style bridge with roller saddles, stop bar tailpiece and Cort Staggered Locking tuning machines. A pair of Manson humbucking pickups are installed in this guitar. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and tone controls, as well as a kill button for stuttering effects. 
 
The Canadian Hard Maple neck plays very well, with it's soft 'V' profile filling the hand nicely and adding a little bit of vintage feel to an otherwise very modern instrument. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck ensures that navigation of the 25.5" scale is a smooth and effortless affair, whilst the single cutaway body design allows easy access to the upper frets. The Indian Laurel fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, providing a strong and durable playing surface across the register. Its 12"-16" compound radius is a welcome modern feature that ensures comfortable chord playing in the lower register whilst facilitating fast lead lines and string bending in the higher frets. 
 
The pair of humbucking pickups installed in this guitar provide full and thick tones that work perfectly as a platform for the wild processing and effects that Bellamy is famed for. The neck position is smooth and round, delivering plenty of grunt for those lead lines and solos. The bridge position can handle plenty of gain for fuzzy, saturated rhythm sounds that will work well in a variety of genres. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your tone without over-complicating things, with the easily accessible kill button encouraging some unique and exciting opportunities for stuttering effects.
