Here for sale we have a Lakewood M-22 Grand Concert Electro Acoustic Guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in Germany in 1996, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a solid Spruce top, solid Walnut back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Rosewood bridge, Lakewood Chrome closed-back tuners, and an AER Lakewood Mk III Preamp and Pickup System that has controls for gain, treble, middle, bass, and notch. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the slightly thick ‘U’ profile filling the hand, feeling comfortable and thick enough to inspire confidence and feel dependable without being cumbersome. The Rosewood fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, adding a real sense of luxury to the playing experience. The Grand Concert body style is full and dynamic, without being as cumbersome as a dreadnought, perfect for the gigging musician.
 
The voice of this guitar is warm and detailed, with the Walnut back and sides producing a punchy and responsive midrange. The solid Spruce top provides a balanced, seasoned tone with plenty of low end power and warm detail. The AER Lakewood Mk III system captures the natural voice of the instrument perfectly, the simple side-mounted controls offer complete control of your tone, whilst the simple control layout keeps things simple offering hassle free tone adjustments.

    Aesthetic Condition:

    Headstock: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates indentation most notably to the bass side beside the D tuning machine. These indentations pierce the finish slightly. The edges demonstrate light  indentation, most notably to the top edges. This is most notable to the top rear edge where consistent indentation has slightly chipped the finish and is beginning to delaminate. Further similar indentation can be identified to the volute.

    Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates a moderate indentation piercing the finish behind the 7th fret towards the bass side edge. The heel demonstrates light scratching. The fingerboard demonstrates light indentation in the early register consistent with regular use. The treble side of the 3rd and 8th fret demonstrate moderate indentation, not felt under the string in playing position. The 17th fret demonstrates a notable indentation to the bass side edge.

    Body: Overall very good conditions, all aspects of the body demonstrate consistent light indentation and scratching. This is most notable to the front face of the lower bout where several indentations pierce the finish. There are splashes of what appears to be ink on the inside of the guitar, but we cannot discern what this is. 

     

    Condition of Frets:

    The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, with light indentation in the early frets. This does not affect playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. `

     

    Current Set Up:

    Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

    Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear.

    Structural: No concerns or issues to note. `

    Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.25mm
