Here for sale we have a JJ Guitars Retro Electric Guitar in Tobacco Sunburst finish. Made in Warwickshire in the UK in 2002, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Quilted Maple top, a Mahogany set-neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a set of Sperzel tuners. a Wraparound bridge, and a set of Humbucking pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone (push/pull split coil), and a three-way pickup selector.

The Mahogany set neck plays well, with the 'C' profile feeling slim in the hand whilst also feeling dependable. The Gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25" scale, whilst the dual cutaway body design with a bevelled lower horn that enhances access to the upper frets. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface in all registers. The wraparound bridge is very practical, and provides excellent tuning stability.

The pair of humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and smooth tones, well suited to a wide range of genres and playing styles. There is plenty of warmth and roundness in the neck position, perfect for solo tones or shimmering clean sounds. The bridge position is brighter and slightly hotter, meaning that you can easily cut through the mix with biting rhythm tones, or achieve a twangy clean sounds for country and blue licks. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound without being intrusive to the playing experience, The addition of the push/pull coil split allows you to achieve a more single-coil style tone, making this a very versatile instrument.
