Here for sale we have a Jackson SL-3 Soloist Electric Guitar in Natural Gloss finish. Made in Japan in 2005, this guitar consists of a Maple Thru-Neck construction, Maple body wings, a Flamed Maple top, and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Jackson Licensed by Floyd Rose Tremolo system, a Locking nut, Jackson Sealed Chrome tuners, two Seymour Duncan Hot Rail pickups in neck and middle position, and a Seymour Duncan Humbucker in the bridge position. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a five-way pickup selector. 
 
The Maple neck lends itself well to more technical styles of playing, and with its Gloss finish allows for fluid movements up and down the register. The thin 'C' neck profile and Rosewood fingerboard provide a pleasant and durable playing surface, whilst the compound fingerboard radius offers the best of both comfortable chord playing and fast lead lines towards the higher register. Jumbo frets enhance string bending and vibrato techniques, as well as assisting with fast lead playing. The classic dual-cutaway and body contours ensure a comfortable playing experience whilst allowing for unobstructed access to the upper frets.
 
The trio of Seymour Duncan pickups installed in this guitar deliver a wide range of tones that work well in a variety of musical settings. It has to be said that the HHH pickup configuration with a 5-way switch is one of the most versatile available, and this example goes a long way to confirming that. There is plenty of grunt on offer from the bridge, which when driving the amp delivers a saturated distortion tone that's perfect for your rock and metal rhythm playing. The power of the neck position is perfect for lead lines and solos, whilst the balance of the Humbucker in the middle position works well with the split humbuckers in positions 2 & 4 to deliver sparkling clean tones.
