Here for sale we have a Jackson Rob Caggiano Shadowcaster in Purple Metallic finish. Made in Indonesia in 2020, Rob Caggiano’s signature features a Graphite reinforced bolt-on construction which comprises a Mahogany body, Maple neck and 22 fret Ebony fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Chrome hardware including Jackson Sealed Die-Cast locking tuning machines and a Jackson TOM-Style bridge and hardtail tailpiece. The pickups installed are a pair of DiMarzio Mark Morton Signature Dominion humbuckers, which are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls.
 
The Maple neck plays well, with a profile that could be described as a thin “D” feeling nicely slim in the hand whilst remaining substantial enough to sustain a comfortable grip for chord playing. The neck is certainly aimed at the more technically-minded player, and facilitates fast lead lines easily. The 12"-16" compound radius offers a rounder surface in the lower register for chord playing and transitions smoothly to a flatter surface as you climb the register. This ensures that the playing surface is tailored to the needs of the musician across the range. The use of Jumbo frets assists with smooth string bending and vibrato techniques and provides a rock-solid playing experience.
 
The pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver heavy, crushing tones that are perfectly suited to the fast and furious heavy riffing as well as clean articulate single note lines. The neck pickup is round and powerful, easily pushing your solos to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is brighter, and with a higher output delivers brutal, searing rhythm sounds that retain plenty of definition in the low end for those drop tunings. A lovely workhorse guitar that will bring hours of playing enjoyment to its new owner.
