Here for sale we have a Jackson FSR JS42 Dinky Lacewood Electric Guitar in Natural Satin finish. Made in China in 2021, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Ziricote top, a Caramelised Maple neck, and a 24-fret Caramelised Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a Jackson by Floyd Rose Tremolo bridge, Black hardware, and Jackson 6-in-line tuners. The pickups installed on this guitar are a set of Jackson High Output humbuckers, and these are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Caramelised Maple neck plays well, with a slim profile feeling slender in the hand offering a fast surface to navigate whilst promoting comfortable thumb positioning. The 12"-16" compound radius offers a rounder surface in the lower register for chord playing and transitions smoothly to a flatter surface as you climb the register. This ensures that the playing surface is tailored to the needs of the musician across the range. The use of Jumbo frets assists with smooth string bending and vibrato techniques and provides a rock-solid playing experience.
Amplified, this guitar has a thick low end grunt and sculpted mid range thanks to its pair of Jackson High-Output humbucking pickups. The Jackson High-Output humbucker bridge pickup incorporates a massive ceramic magnet and hot coil windings to deliver powerful but balanced rock and metal tones with rich upper-midrange harmonic content. The low strings are tight and the high strings scream with harmonics, making it a go-to pickup for hard-hitting crunch rhythms and blazing lead tones. The Jackson High-Output humbucker in the neck position offers all the soloing clarity you could wish for, with sweet sustain and a warm, full sound that still possesses a clear attack providing a hot output delivering smooth, fluid solo tones under gain, while still being capable of bell-like clean tones.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. A light indentation is present to the treble side edge of the headstock, this has lightly pierced the finish. Very light scratching is present to the front face, these can only be seen under direct light.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The Satin finish has been lightly polished to a Gloss texture through regular past use, this can be seen across the register to both the fingerboard and rear of the neck.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light lacquer cracking is present on both sides of the neck pocket, this is common with bolt-on guitars and does not affect the structure. Light scratching is present to the rear face lower bout, this has not broken through the finish. The Satin finish in high contact areas has been polished to a Gloss texture through regular past use, this is most apparent to the front face treble side of the pickups.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use. Tremolo arm included.
