Made in the USA this guitar features an Alder body with belly carve and sculpted heel, bolt-on 5-piece Caramelized Maple/Maple neck with hand-rubbed satin finish and 24 Jumbo fret fingerboard with rolled edges. Other appointments include a Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo bridge system and Gotoh locking tuning machines. A Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 Direct Mount is fitted in the bridge while a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1n Direct-Mount is fitted in the neck. These are wired to a 5-way pickup selector, volume and tone.
The Maple neck lends itself well to more technical styles of playing, and with its hand-rubbed Satin finish allows for fluid movements up and down the register. The thin 'U' neck profile and Ebony fingerboard provide a pleasant and durable playing surface, whilst the compound fingerboard radius offers the best of both comfortable chord playing and fast lead lines towards the higher register. Jumbo frets enhance string bending and vibrato techniques, as well as assisting with fast lead playing. The classic dual-cutaway and body contours ensure a comfortable playing experience whilst allowing for unobstructed access to the upper frets.
Amplified, the pair of Seymour Duncan pickups installed in this guitar deliver a wide range of full-bodied and heavy tones, perfect for a multitude of genres and playing styles. The JB TB-4 in the bridge produces a searing output which can easily drive your amp into a saturated distortion tone; great for rock and metal riffing and rhythm parts.The neck position is warm and powerful without being at all soft, delivering commanding lead tones which will cut through even the densest mixes with ease.
