Here for sale we have an Ibanez TOD10 Tim Henson signature in Classic Silver. Made in Indonesia in 2024, this guitar features an American Basswood body, bolt-on Roasted Maple neck and 24 fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include T1502 tremolo bridge and Gotoh SG381 tuning machines. A pair of Fishman Fluence Tim Henson signature series humbucking pickups are fitted and wired to a master volume, tone with push/pull control for different pickup voicings and 5-way pickup selector.
The Roasted Maple neck plays very well, with the AZ Oval Premium C profile which could perhaps be described as a Slim ‘C’ shape feeling extremely responsive and ergonomic. The satin finish makes for smooth & easy transitions up and down the neck. The Ebony fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 12” radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines.
The pair of Tim Henson signature humbuckers installed in this guitar provide a surprisingly diverse range of tones. Clean sounds are rich and warm in the neck position, whilst the 5-way switching offers a set of unique voices, with split coil sounds built in. As you would expect, these pickups can handle a serious amount of gain. Crushing tones in the bridge position remain tight and focussed, ensuring that your fast, low riffing retains definition.
