Here for sale we have an Ibanez RGT1221PB-DTF Premium Electric Guitar in Twilight Flat finish. Made in Indonesia in 2024, the body of this guitar consists of American Basswood Winges with a Poplar Burl top, a Neck-Through 7-piece Maple/Walnut neck, and a 24 Jumbo Stainless Steel fret Ebony fingerboard adorned with Acrylic & abalone split block inlays as well as Luminescent side dots. Cosmo Black hardware is featured with a Ibanez ‘Mono-Rail’ String-Through bridge as well as a set of Gotoh SG381 MG-T locking tuning machines. The pickups installed in this guitar consist of a Dimarzio Air Norton humbucker in the neck position along with a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge, these are wired to 5-way Pickup Selector, Master volume, Master volume and a Alter switch
The 7-piece Maple/Walnut neck plays very well. The ‘Wizard lll’ profile feels incredibly slender and articulate in the hand, with a flattened area to the centre of the neck which promotes ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers and helps to facilitate fast, technical playing. This is further enhanced by the Satin finish which promotes easy navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 15.75" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register, well suited to string bending & vibrato thanks to the Stainless Steel Jumbo frets.
The pair of Dimarzio humbuckers installed in this guitar deliver a wide range of tones. They produce a moderate output for a natural clean voicing, accurately reflecting subtle playing nuances and responding well to small adjustments of the controls. The Dimarzio Tone Zone bridge humbucker delivers a punchy tone, with plenty of brightness to bring your playing front and centre in the mix. The Dimarzio Air Norton neck provides a smooth and rounded tone, whilst retaining a shimmer which really shines through with clean tones. The dyna-MIX10 switching system makes use of the 'Alter Switch' to offer series or parallel wiring modes.

Aesthetic Condition:
Overall very good condition. The front and rear face of the top edge demonstrate light indentations and scuffing to the tip, fading some of the finish. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult.
Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates some excess fret glue and light lateral scratching, most notably to the 11th fret. These cannot be felt beneath the strings and do not in any way affect the instruments feel or playability.
Overall very good condition. The side face edges demonstrate light indentations throughout, most notably to the lower bout. Most notably, an indentation that has removed the finish to reveal the wood beneath is apparent to the rear face edge of the lower cutaway horn. Any markings to the front face are difficult to discern. Numerous indentations are present surrounding the rear strap button.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Moderate tarnishing is apparent to the bridge. Light scratching is apparent to the truss rod cover.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
