Here for sale we have an Ibanez RGIB6 Baritone Electric Guitar in Ibanez RGIB6 Baritone Electric Guitar finish. Made in Indonesia in 2014, this bolt-on constructed guitar consists of a Basswood body, a 3-piece Maple/Bubinga neck, and a 24 Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. The hardware featured includes a string through Gibraltar Standard II bridge along with a set of Sealed tuning machines  all in Cosmo Black finish. A set EMG 81/60 active humbuckers are installed into this guitar, these are wired to a 3-way pickup selector, Master Volume and a Kill-Switch.
 
The 3-piece Maple/Bubinga neck plays well, with the Nitro Baritone neck profile feeling slim and ergonomic in the hand, allowing for great thumb placement all across the neck, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard and Jumbo frets provide a robust playing experience that feels rock solid under the fingers, whilst enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The 15.75" radius typical of Ibanez ensures that the playing experience is tailored to the needs of the player in all registers, providing an even and balanced feel across the strings, perfect for those Baritone accentuations. The double cutaway body design provides unobstructed access to the upper register, making solo lines a breeze.
 
Amplified, this guitar has a thick low end grunt and sculpted mid range thanks to its pair of  Active EMG 81/60 pickups. Plenty of aggression is present,  just as we expect from active EMGs with the 60 in the neck offering boosted mids, big lows and fat highs, and is perfect for rock and metal lead tones with plenty of power to blast your solos to the front of the mix. The 81 in the bridge position delivers a searing distortion tone that works fantastically well for rock and metal rhythm parts and riffs, handling more gain than can possibly be necessary. The baritone nature of the thicker/lower tuned strings are tight and the high strings scream with harmonics, making it a go-to pickup for hard-hitting crunch rhythms and blazing lead tones.
