Here for sale we have an Ibanez RG2620-CBL Electric Guitar in Cubed Blue finish. Made in Japan in 2005, this guitar consists of a Basswood body, a 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck, and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Cosmo Black hardware, an Edge Pro Tremolo system, a locking nut, and a set of DiMarzio IBZ RG Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a 5-way pickup selector.
The 5pc Maple/Walnut neck is supremely comfortable in the hand, with the Wizard Prestige profile offering a precise and articulate playing experience across the register. Ibanez are well known for their lightning-fast Wizard profiles, and with this RG2620 it is easy to see why. The profile feels nicely slim, with a flattened area to the centre rear which encourages ergonomic thumb positioning in all fingerboard positions. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is very attractive whilst providing a smooth and durable playing surface. With its 16.9" radius and Jumbo frets, lead techniques are a breeze, whilst the Edge Pro tremolo system enables squealing dive bombs and guitar acrobatics alongside rock-solid tuning stability.
Amplified, the pair of DiMarzio IBZ RG humbucking pickups deliver thick and full bodied tones, perfect for capturing the low-down riffing that this guitar lends itself to. The neck position is powerful and broad, pushing your lead lines and solos easily to the front of the mix. The bridge is of course brighter, and works brilliantly for rock riffing and rhythm parts, retaining clarity even in dropped tunings. The 5-way switching offers some split-coil sounds, delivering crystalline clean sounds with ease. The controls are kept nice and simple - a hallmark of the RG Series. However, due to their responsiveness they still offer a wide range of tones.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Light indentations are present to the tip of the headstock, these can be seen at close scrutiny. The front face of the headstock displays light scratching which can be seen under direct light.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck has lightly polished to a Gloss texture through regular past use. All other aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.
Body: Overall excellent condition. Light chipping is present to the treble side of the bridge, this has lightly exposed the wood beneath. The Satin finish has lightly polished to a Gloss texture through regular past use in high contact areas.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. Very light denting and flattening of the frets is apparent to the early register.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (7mm Wrench) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. Mild tarnishing can be seen to the bass side of the bridge, this has worn away the finish and is consistent with regular past use. Tremolo arm included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
