Here for sale we have an Ibanez RG2550Z electric guitar in Galaxy White finish. Made in Japan in 2008, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, 5-piece maple/ walnut neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including an Ibanez Edge Zero tremolo system with ZPS3F stabilizer & Gotoh SG381 tuning machines. A trio of Ibanez DiMarzio IBZ RG pickups are installed in an HSH configuration, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume & master tone control.
The 5-Piece Maple/Walnut neck plays very well. The ‘Wizard Prestige’ profile feels nicely slender and articulate in the hand, with a flattened area to the centre of the neck which promotes ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers and helps to facilitate fast, technical playing. This is further enhanced by the gloss finish which promotes easy navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 20" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register, well suited to string bending & vibrato thanks to the jumbo frets.
The trio of DiMarzio IBZ pickups installed in this guitar deliver a wide array of sounds, with the best of humbucking and single-coil tones on offer. The neck pickup is bold and warm, providing all of the clarity needed for your solo tones whilst remaining bright enough for chording and articulate rhythm parts. The humbucker in the bridge is hotter, delivering a full-bodied and saturated harmonic distortion for your lead tones when driving the amp. The single-coil in the middle position has a high output for a single-coil, meaning that it blends well with the neck and bridge pickups.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edge demonstrates consistent light indentation which has slightly pierced the finish in places.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.
Body: Overall very good condition, the front face bass side lower bout demonstrates a moderate scratch, piercing the top coat of the finish. A small chip is apparent to the bottom front edge, revealing the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (7mm socket) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional with moderate signs of wear, most notably oxidation of the bridge and fine tuners.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
