Here for sale we have an Ibanez JS100 John Scofield Signature Electric Guitar in Vintage Sunburst finish. The signature model of Jazz Guitar legend, John Scofield, this guitar combines stunning visuals with ergonomic playability to create a guitar that anyone would be proud to own. Made in Japan in 2021, this guitar consists of a Figured Anigre semi-hollow body, an African Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include a Half-Bone/Half-Brass nut, Gotoh machine heads, a Gotoh 510Bn bridge, and a Gotoh GE101A tailpiece. The pickups installed are a set of Ibanez Super 58 humbuckers that are wired to two independent volume controls, two independent tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
 
The African Mahogany neck plays very well, with the signature JSM profile feeling somewhat like a rounded 'C' shape; fairly substantial in the hand without being at all cumbersome. Certainly, the profile provides a confidence-inspiring grip for chord playing whilst remaining slim enough for fast lead lines and solos. The Ebony fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its compound 7.25"-9.84" radius being practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The Acrylic and Abalone block inlays add a sense of luxury to the playing experience while setting off the visually striking finish. 
 
The pair of Ibanez Super '58 humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full bodied tones, well suited to a wide array of genres. The neck position is warm and round, with plenty of power for pushing your lead tones to the front of the mix. The bridge is of course brighter, and provides a searing distortion sound for rock rhythm parts and riffs. The semi hollow-body construction of the guitar offers a lively and responsive sound, allowing you to control your tone easily with just the power of your right hand.
