Here for sale we have an Ibanez BTB1805 5-string Electric Bass guitar in Natural Low Gloss. Made in Indonesia in 2017 this guitar features a neck-thru construction consisting of a 9-piece Wenge/Bubinga/Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard, Ash wings and Rosewood top and back. Other features include Mono-rail V bridge and Gotoh GB707. A pair of Aguilar DCB pickups are fitted and wired to an Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, pickup balancer, master volume, EQ bypass switch and 3-way mid-frequency toggle.
The 9-piece Wenge/Bubinga/Maple ‘BTB5’ neck profile allows you to navigate the Rosewood fingerboard with ease, allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning. The 35” radius provides a comfortable playing surface and with the 1.85” nut width allows for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The Low Gloss finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck whilst the double cutaway body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register.
The pair of passive Aguilar DCB pickups installed in this bass work in conjunction with the on-board preamp to deliver an incredibly versatile range of sounds. There is a great fundamental bass tone with the controls at their midpoints, producing a warm and powerful low end, clear mids and sparkling top end that captures the attack of your playing. Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edge demonstrates several indentations to the top edge which chip the finish, revealing the wood beneath. The front face demonstrates a patch of light indentations toward the bottom bass side corner that do not pierce the finish. The serial and model number decal has worn away, fragments of this have spread across the upper rear face.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching and indentation visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. These can be somewhat discerned beneath the thumb but are somewhat difficult to differentiate from the open pore finish.
Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates light indentation throughout, most notably to the bass side waist. A patch of finish has worn away to the bass side of the bridge pickup. The edges of the guitar demonstrate light to moderate indentation, piercing the finish occasionally along the lower bout. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use.

Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
