Here for sale we have an Ibanez AZS2209 Prestige Electric Guitar in Antique Turquoise finish. Made in Japan in 2021, this guitar consists of an Ash body, a Roasted Maple neck, and a 22-fret Roasted Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a Gotoh F1803 bridge, Gotoh Magnum locking tuners, Luminlay side dots, along with a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups - a Magic Touch mini humbucker at the neck and an Alnico II Pro Custom single coil at the bridge. The pickups are controlled by master volume/tone controls, a 3-way blade switch and an alter switch.
The satin finish AZ Oval C profile neck is smooth and easy to navigate with expertly rolled off fret edges for fluid hand movement up and down the neck. The jumbo stainless steel fret wire feels rock solid, along with the contoured cutaway and rolled neck heel giving excellent access to the upper register. The hardware on the AZS2209 is stellar - Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads, a bone nut and a Gotoh F1803 bridge keeps you firmly in tune and provides a solid foundation for your strings to rest upon.
The Seymour Duncan pickups installed in this guitar deliver all of the HS tones you know and love but with more kick than you would expect! The Seymour Duncan Magic Touch-mini humbucker pickup gives a nice balanced tone while the bridge pickup is where this guitar really comes alive though, with a bright, searing bite and buckets of 'Twang' that will catapult you to the front of any mix. The alter switch gives you alternate voicings in middle and bridge position, giving you series and parallel split coil options. The pickups compliment each other very well, sounding balanced while offering a broad tonal palate.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition, a light indentation is apparent to the rear treble side edge, piercing the finish slightly.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, the rear of the neck has buffed to a gloss through regular use.
Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates two chips to the finish, one on the bass side waist and one on the bass side shoulder. These reveal the wood beneath. Both corners of the neck pocket demonstrate finish cracking, as is common with bolt on neck construction. This does not affect the structural integrity of the instrument.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
