Here for sale we have an Ibanez AS73 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Tobacco Brown finish. Made in China in 2015, this guitar consists of a Maple body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include an ART-1 bridge, a Quik Change III tailpiece, Ibanez Die-Cast tuners, and a set of Ibanez Classic Elite Passive Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to two independent volume controls, two independent tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Artcore profile feeling somewhat like a rounded 'C' shape; fairly substantial in the hand without being at all cumbersome. Certainly, the profile provides a confidence-inspiring grip for chord playing whilst remaining slim enough for fast lead lines and solos. The Rosewood fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The Acrylic block inlays add a sense of luxury to the playing experience while setting off the visually striking finish.
The Ibanez Classic Elite Humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tones. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing great feel and clarity & allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones. The semi-hollow construction means that the tone is more open and airy than a solid body, whilst the pickups ensure that the guitar can drive an amplifier with ease. The classic control layout offers ease of use and a broad sweep of both volume and tone to really help you accurately dial in your desired tones.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
