Here for sale we have an Ibanez AS73 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Brown Sunburst finish. Made in China in 2002, this guitar consists of a Laminated Maple body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include an ART-1 bridge, a Quik Change III Tailpiece, and Die-Cast sealed tuners. The pickups installed are a set of Ibanez Artcore Humbuckers that are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
The 1-Piece Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Artcore profile feeling somewhat like a rounded 'C' shape; fairly substantial in the hand without being at all cumbersome. Certainly, the profile provides a confidence-inspiring grip for chord playing whilst remaining slim enough for fast lead lines and solos. The Rosewood fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques.
The Ibanez Artcore Humbucker 1 in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Ibanez Artcore Humbucker 2 in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. The semi-hollow construction means that the tone is more open and airy than a solid body, whilst the pickups ensure that the guitar can drive an amplifier with ease, and is well suited to a broad range of genres. The classic control layout offers ease of use and a broad sweep of both volume and tone to really help you accurately dial in your desired tones.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the headstock demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The treble side corner of the top edge demonstrates chipping to the finish that reveals the wood beneath. The top edge demonstrates white scuff marks that could not be removed during our cleaning process. Delamination is apparent in the Ibanez logo.
Neck: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the neck demonstrate very light scratching, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. Light white scuff marks are apparent to the rear of the neck, most notably an area in line with the 12th fret.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and scuff marks, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. Scuff marks are apparent to the front face, between the bridge pickup control knobs, near the bottom of the F hole. With further scuff marks to the treble side of the rear face's lower bout.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting is present to the early register and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Mild scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the tuners, bridge, tailpiece and pickup covers.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
