Here for sale we have an Ibanez Artcore AS103 Custom Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Vintage Burst finish. Made in China in 2010 this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Flamed Maple body, a 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck and a 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is equipped with Gold hardware including a Ibanez ART-1 bridge and a Ibanez Quik Change Ultra Tailpiece, along with a set of sealed tuning machines with pearloid buttons. A pair of Ibanez Super 58 Custom humbuckers are installed which are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls. 
 
The 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck plays well, with the ‘Artcore Custom AS’ profile feeling slender and comfortable in the hand, offering easy fretting in any register. The Gloss finish to the rear feels pleasant to the touch and aids easy transitions up and down the neck, whilst the Abalone Custom Block inlaid Rosewood fingerboard, with its 12" radius provides a durable and nicely smooth and consistent playing surface right the way up to the 22nd fret. The semi-hollow construction makes this guitar easy on the shoulders on long gigs, and the smooth lines of the body ensure that this is a comfortable guitar to play either standing or seated.
 
The semi-hollow body design provides a warm, natural resonance that adds depth and dimension to the guitar's tone. The centre block helps to reduce any unwanted feedback and resonance, resulting in a more defined sound. The Ibanez Super 58 Custom humbuckers provide a warm, full-bodied tone with a balanced frequency response. They offer a rich, clear sound that is well-suited for a wide range of musical styles and handle distortion really well, providing a huge array of tones that are suitable for a wide range of musical styles and genres. When driving the amp, the tone is rich and crunchy, lending itself well to blues. A versatile package of tones, especially with the individual volume and tone controls for each pickup.
