Here for sale we have an Ibanez AR520HFM Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Light Blue Burst finish. Built in China in 2022, this guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of a Flamed Maple top and a Okoume back, a 3-piece Maple neck and 22 fret Jatoba fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Gold hardware including a Gibraltar Performer bridge, as well as a Quik Change Classic tailpiece. The pickups are a pair of Super 58 humbuckers, wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume, master tone controls and a pair of Tri-sound switches for each pickup.
The 3-piece Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the AR Chambered profile feeling slim, allowing for fast and easy navigation up and down the neck. The 12” radius provides a great playing surface allowing for bending and vibrato techniques and the double cutaway body allows unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those fast lead lines. The smaller, more compact size of the body makes it easier to play for extended periods of time compared to larger semi-hollow guitars but not diminishing from the overall tone.
The semi-hollow body design provides a warm, natural resonance that adds depth and dimension to the guitar's tone. The Maple centre block helps to reduce any unwanted feedback and unwanted resonance, resulting in a more defined sound. The Super 58 humbuckers provide a warm, full-bodied tone with a balanced frequency response. They offer a rich, clear sound that is well-suited for a wide range of musical styles, and handle distortion really well. The Tri-sound switch feature adds even more range, providing versatile switching for both pickups and offering a huge array of tones that are suitable for a wide range of musical styles and genres.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light chipping to the finish can be seen to the rear face bass side tip which has lightly exposed the wood beneath. Light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, this can be seen under direct light as is common with gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratching is present to the rear of the neck, these can be seen under direct light and can very slightly be felt in the playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition. A mild chip to the finish is present to the front face bass side of the bridge pickup, this has broken through the finish exposing the wood beneath. Light to mild scratching is present to all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the rear face at the heel of the neck, all other scratching can be seen under direct light as is common with gloss finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the metal hardware display light to mild tarnishing of the finish, this is common with past use.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
