Here for sale we have an Ibanez AFB200-SRD-12-04 Hollow Body Bass Guitar in Sunset Red finish. Made in China in 2013, this bass consists of a Maple body, a 3-piece Maple/Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include an FBT40 tailpiece, Ibanez die-cast tuners, an ART-1 wooden bridge, and a set of Ibanez ACHB Humbucking pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector.
The 3-Piece Maple/Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Artcore Bass profile resembling a ‘C’, feeling slim and allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning. The 15.75” radius Rosewood fingerboard provides a comfortable playing surface, which allows for different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The Low Gloss finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck whilst the single cutaway body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register.
The hollow body construction provides an open airiness to the sound which makes the instrument suitable for a wide range of genres whilst retaining a unique and unmistakable voice. The pair of ACHB Humbuckers deliver a thick and powerful tone, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. The pots feel nicely responsive, allowing you to dial in your perfect tone with ease, whilst the simplicity of the controls ensure that you can stay focussed on your playing whilst still offering comprehensive control of your tone.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
