Here for sale we have an Ibanez AF105F Hollow Body electric guitar in Natural finish. Made in China in 2006 this guitar features a Hollow Flamed Maple body, 5-piece Maple/Bubinga neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include aftermarket Gotoh tuning machines, ART-1 bridge and VT-04 tailpiece. A single floating Ibanez Custom-F neck pickup is fitted and wired to volume and tone controls.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Artcore Custom AF’ profile filling the hand nicely while still feeling thin making efficient chordal transitions. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, with its 12” radius allowing for being and vibrato techniques. The Single cutaway provides full access to the upper registers.
The AF105F was designed to tailor for traditional Jazz players, with the fully hollow body design combined with the Maple tonewoods offering a resonant tone well suited to Jazz. The neck pickup has beautiful clarity, allowing for shimmering trebles to ring, creating smooth and defined voicings great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, offering plenty of room for tonal scaping.
