Here for sale we have an Ibanez AC3000-NT Grand Concert acoustic guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in China in 2010, this guitar features an impressively high-end specification for a budget-friendly instrument. This includes an all-solid set neck construction comprising an Engelmann Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. The body is double bound in Rosewood, with a matching back strip to the rear. The top is adorned with multi-stripe purfling, Abalone rosette & a black pickguard. A Bone saddle & nut are installed, as well as a set of Gold Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with Brown Pearloid buttons.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the 'AW' profile feeling somewhat like a 'D' shape in the hand thanks to the lightly flattened area to the centre rear. Certainly not a slim neck, the 'shoulders' of the profile are quite broad, and produce a rather vintage-inspired feel. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 15.75" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles & techniques. With a nut width of 1.793", there is ample string spacing for accurate fretting and good fingerstyle technique.
The voice of the AC3000-NT is rich and nicely balanced thanks to the small stature of the body. The 000 body size produces plenty of volume whilst avoiding the 'boom' that is often associated with dreadnoughts or larger body sizes. There is plenty of dynamic range to be found in this guitar too, with quieter playing being rewarded with a lovely intimate tone, ranging through to a powerful sound when strumming hard. The Engelmann Spruce top projects very well, and helps brighten up the sound for snappy response. A very well appointed instrument at a bargain price.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The rear edges demonstrate moderate indentation towards the treble side top corner, lightly piercing the finish to reveal the wood beneath, with similar but lighter markings the top edges.The front face demonstrates light scratching and indentation visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the treble side of the fingerboard edge demonstrates an indentation near the 1st fret. The heel of the neck demonstrates a moderate indentation that pierces the finish at the treble side.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light top mild indentations which do not pierce the finish are scattered around the lower bout of the front face. The pickguard and treble side waist show mild scratching consistent with playwear.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for any future fretwork the new owner may wish to perform.

There is no saddle remaining for further adjustments to the action. The bridge slots have been ramped previously to improve breakangle over the saddle.
This guitar is set up for fingerstyle and gentle pick use. If you use a heavy attack you may need to raise the saddle to eliminate string buzz.
