Here for sale we have a Hagstrom Viking semi hollow body electric guitar in Cherry finish. Made in China in 2011, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Ply-Maple body, Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo Resinator fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Nickel hardware including Long Travel Tune-O-Matic with Hagstrom Trapeze TailPiece and Hagstrom Design 18:1 tuning machines. The pickups fitted in this guitar are a pair of Hagstrom HJ-50 Humbuckers, these are wired to a 3-way selector, Independent Tone, Independent Volume.
 
The Gloss finish Maple neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ profile feeling slender, sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Resinator fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 15” radius and Medium Jumbo frets offer a perfect balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending techniques. The semi-hollow construction gives the guitar a nice open and resonant feel, while keeping unwanted feedback at bay thanks to the centreblock.
 
The semi-hollow body delivers unique acoustic features. It achieves a delicate balance between body resonance and resistance to feedback, this results in an organic vocal quality that is tactile and responsive to the player's touch. The HJ-50 Humbuckers sound thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output,  providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound without being intrusive to the playing experience.
