Here for sale we have a Guild F240E Electro Acoustic guitar in Satin Natural finish. Made in China, this guitar features a body consisting of Mahogany back and sides and Solid Sitka Spruce top as well as a Mahogany neck and 20 fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Other appointments include Guild open-gear tuning machines and Pau Ferro bridge.
 
This instrument plays very well. The Mahogany neck is carved into a Moderately sized 'C' shaped profile that feels comfortable in the hand with the nicely flat 14" fingerboard radius feeling consistent, fretting is easy in any register. The Satin finish to the rear makes this guitar feel easy to navigate as transitions are smooth. The curves of the Jumbo body feel familiar, and sit ergonomically on the knee when in a seated position. 
 
The Solid Sitka-Spruce top allows this guitar to project very well, offering a wide dynamic range that feels sensitive to the player's touch. The Mahogany back and sides produce a very balanced sound with sparkly high end frequencies that offer crystal clear tones for chord playing. The size of the body imparts a rich and warm low end which offsets the brightness of the tone beautifully, whilst the undersaddle piezo pickup accurately conveys the guitar's voice in live or recording situations.
