Here for sale we have a Guild D-140CENAT in Gloss Natural. Made in China this acoustic guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of Mahogany back and sides with Spruce top, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. A fishman pickup system is fitted with soundhole-mounted controls for volume and tone.
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a ‘D’ profile which fills the hand nicely for a substantial yet easily manageable grip, well suited to both chordal and melodic playing styles. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its traditional 16" radius is practical for a wide range of playing techniques. The nut width at 1.68" ensures easy reach across the register whilst maintaining ample string spacing for accurate fretting. 
 
The acoustic voice of the Guild D-140CENAT is rich and powerful, delivering crystalline chords when strumming that would be equally at home as a solo instrument or part of an ensemble. The Mahogany back and sides produce a brightness which adds clarity to the overall tone. The low end is warm without being too soft, the mid range is punchy and clear, whilst the treble response adds a shimmer and sparkle to every note played on the instrument. There is plenty of dynamic range to be found in this guitar, with the Spruce top projecting very well and feeling nicely responsive to the player's touch.
