Here for sale we have a Gretsch G6128DS Duo Jet Electric Guitar in Black Gloss finish. Made in Japan in 2007, this guitar consists of a Chambered Mahogany body with a Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Grover open-gear tuners with mini buttons, a compensated aluminium bridge, a Gretsch tailpiece, and a pair of Gretsch DynaSonic pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, neck volume, bridge volume, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in hand, with the ‘U’ profile feeling slim and quick, providing a comfortable and ergonomic playing surface, as well as comfortable thumb positioning in any register. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck provides effortless navigation up and down the neck, whilst the 12" radius Ebony fingerboard provides a nicely flat and consistent playing experience right the way up the register. The single cutaway body design provides great access to the higher frets, great for those fast lead lines.
The pair of Gretsch DynaSonic pickups provide a thick and full-bodied tone, well suited to a wide range of genres yet retaining their own unique voice. The neck pickup is round and warm, delivering a smooth tone with plenty of power for pushing your solos and melody lines to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, and with a higher output can handle a surprising amount of gain for a seriously rockin' tone.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.
Neck: Overall very good condition. A previous owner has sanded the Gloss finishes to the rear of the neck to a Satin texture, with this very light scratching can be seen under direct light under close scrutiny. All other aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentations are apparent to all aspects of the body, the most noticeable of these can be seen to the treble side lower bout edge where the finish has chipped away exposing the wood beneath. Further to this lighter indentations can be seen to the center of the rear face consistent with buckle rash, these can be seen under direct light and have not pierced the finish. All aspects of the body display light to mild scratching which can be seen under direct light, the most apparent of these can be seen to the front face near the bridge and lower bout.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. A previous owner has swapped the original bridge out for a brass bridge, the original is included. All other aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
