Here for sale we have a Gretsch G6122-1962 Country Classic in Walnut finish. Made in Japan in 2005, this guitar features a set neck construction comprising a Laminated Maple semi-hollow body, 3-piece Maple neck and 22 fret Ebony fingerboard. The guitar is equipped with Gold hardware including a Gretsch Bigsby B6G vibrato tailpiece, a ‘Rocking Bar’ bridge and a set of Grover Imperial tuning machines. A pair of Gretsch Filter'Tron pickups are featured, these are wired to a 3-Way toggle switch, master volume, neck volume, bridge volume, 3-way Gretsch tone switch and a 3-way kill switch.

The neck plays very well, with the slim 'C' profile feeling comfortable in the hand and providing a sprightly and articulate playing experience. The Ebony fingerboard feels luxurious to the touch, and with the medium jumbo frets and 12" radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques. The smooth lines of the body make this guitar feel supremely comfortable when playing in a seated position, and the semi-hollow construction paired with the back pad to the rear of the body ensure that this instrument feels

great to play standing too.

When plugged in this guitar offers a very rich tone, courtesy of the dual Filter'Tron pickups and semi-hollow construction. An unpronounced yet well defined low end is complimented with a warm midrange and detailed high frequencies. The controls offer a wide range of tonal opportunities; Individual volume controls mean that you can blend the pickups to your preference in the middle position. The tone switch on the upper bout allows for switching between 3 different tone settings - very handy for changing tone during a performance.

Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
