Here for sale we have a set of Greco Embossed Maxon Humbucking pickups. Made in Japan in 1976, these pickups are a rare and sought-after piece of vintage Japanese guitar craftsmanship. The embossed Maxon logo marks them as early and highly collectible, delivering both historical value and outstanding performance.
 
These vintage 1976 Greco embossed Maxon pickups are prized for their rich, rounded tone and remarkable harmonic depth. They deliver a smooth, articulate response with crystal-clear highs and a warm, full-bodied character that captures the essence of classic '70s rock. When driven, they offer a gritty, expressive growl with a tight attack that cuts through the mix—perfect for vintage-inspired distortion tones. These pickups have been tested and are in full working order, demonstrating very good used condition. Both pickup casings show signs of tarnishing that are expected due to their age.
