Here for sale we have a GrassRoots Knight Custom G-KT-CTM electric guitar in See Thru Black finish. Grassroots Guitars is one of ESP's brands, and is positioned as an affordable, high quality instrument with surprising levels of craftsmanship & quality at such a low price point. Made in China in 2020, this instrument features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Maple top & Flame Maple Veneer, Hard Maple neck and 24 fret Blackwood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a 2-point tremolo bridge & sealed tuning machines, as well as a Bone nut. A pair of GrassRoots GH-1G open-coil passive humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume & master tone controls.
The Hard Maple neck plays very well, with the ESP Thin 'U' profile offering smooth & speedy playability in all fingerboard positions. Certainly on the slim side, the profile promotes ergonomic thumb positioning & offers easy reach for big stretches & technical licks. The Blackwood fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, being a composite material with the appearance of Rosewood but a texture closer to Ebony. Along with the 12" radius & XJ frets, string bending & vibrato techniques are very well accommodated.
Amplified, the pair of GrassRoots GH-1G uncovered passive humbucking pickups deliver thick & full-bodied tones, with a high output & ceramic magnets for a modern, full-bore rock & metal sound. Certainly, the pickups can handle a serious amount of gain when driving the amp, delivering saturated distortion tones. The neck is round & powerful, and drives your lead lines & solos to the front of the mix. The bridge is hotter, and is nicely bright- easily cutting through the mix on your rock & metal riffing. A unique instrument which is well equipped for wherever the gig takes you.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
