Here for sale we have a Gordon Smith 'The Gatsby' Electric Guitar in Rockingham Green finish. Made in the United Kingdom in 2022, this guitar consists of a Poplar body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Modern Gotoh T bridge, Chrome hardware, Gotoh Tuners, and a Brass nut. The pickups installed in this guitar are a set of Gordon Smith T-Style Single coils. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. 
 
The Maple neck is a joy to play on, with a profile which might be described as a moderately-sized 'D' shape which offers a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. Certainly, the profile is substantial enough to inspire confidence when chord playing, yet remains slim and articulate enough for lead lines and solos. The Satin finish to the rear is slightly worn and assists with smooth navigation of the 24" scale, whilst the offset body design and lightly sculpted heel ensure unrestricted access to the upper register. The offset body is comfortable in the arms, and with ergonomic contours in high contact areas can be played for extended periods of time without fatigue. 
 
Amplified, the pair of Gordon Smith T-Style single-coil pickups deliver beautifully clear and precise tones that are quintessential T-Style whilst also providing some Gordon Smith refinement. The neck pickup is warm and round, with plenty of power for driving your solo tones to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is always the main event in a T-Style guitar, and this particular one does not disappoint. Plenty of bright 'Twang' is present, and with a nice high output, the pickup can push your amp into a gritty and raw distortion. The controls are nice and responsive, allowing you to dial in your perfect sound right on the guitar.
