Here for sale we have a Godin xtSA electric synth guitar. Made in Canada this guitar features a bolt-on construction consisting of a Silver Leaf Maple body with Koa top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Richlite fingerboard. Other appointments include Godin locking tuning machines and Godin bridge with transducer saddles. The two Godin humbuckers fitted in the neck and bridge positions are paired with a Godin single coil in the middle position. These are wired to volume, tone and 5-way pickup selector controls .This guitar features 3 outputs including a normal guitar output, acoustic output and 13 pin output. The controls on the bass side shoulder include volume and 3 band EQ for the piezo. A volume for the 13 pin synth output is also fitted.  
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ shape neck profile facilitating articulate lead playing whilst remaining substantial enough to sustain a firm grip for chord playing. The Richlite fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, and with its 16" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The single cutaway body design with sculpted neck heel enhances access to the upper frets, meaning you can make use of the full 22 fret register. The extensive controls are well set out, ensuring that everything is within easy reach without intruding on the playing experience.
 
The humbuckers have a bold and powerful output with solid lows, driving mids and articulate highs. The single coil in the middle position provides great contrast to the humbuckers, with glassy and clear tones available in positions 2, 3 and 4, with positions 2 and 4 splitting the coils of the humbuckers for traditional out-of-phase single coil sounds. Turn down the electric output and raise the volume on the transducer saddles and the xtSA becomes an incredibly authentic-sounding ‘acoustic’ guitar. The acoustic voice of the xtSA is enhanced by an onboard preamp with a three-band EQ. Also, the xtSA’s synth tracking, which simply put, is the best in the business. As with all of Godin synth-ready instruments, a built-in 13-pin connector provides direct access to all Roland GR-Series synths as well as most other 13-pin devices.
