Here for sale we have a Godin LGX-SA in Trans Amber finish. Made in Canada in 2001, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Mahogany body with AAA Flame Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Black hardware including TOM style bridge with transducer saddles and sealed tuning machines. A pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups are fitted, with an SH-II Jazz in the neck and Custom III in the bridge. This guitar features 3 separate outputs for magnetic pickups, piezo pickups and 13-Pin connector for guitar synth connectivity. An array of on-board controls are included, with a 5-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls for the magnetic pickups, on-board piezo preamp with slider controls for master volume and 3-band EQ, as well as a synth volume control, 3-way voice toggle and synth program up/down control. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with what might be described as a slim 'C' shape profile that facilitates articulate lead playing whilst remaining substantial enough to sustain a firm grip for chord playing. The Ebony fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, and with its 16" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The single cutaway body design with sculpted neck heel enhances access to the upper frets, meaning you can make use of the full 22 fret register. The extensive controls are well set out, ensuring that everything is within easy reach without intruding on the playing experience. 
 
The pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups installed provide a thick and full-bodied tone, well suited to a wide range of genres. The neck pickup is both warm and round, perfect for when you need a powerful solo tone. The bridge pickup is brighter, and with a higher output pushes your amp into a nicely saturated distortion when you crank the gain. The 5-way switching offers 5 unique and highly usable voices, whilst the master volume and tone controls feel responsive to small changes. Add to this the piezo pickup and 13-pin synth output and you have an extremely versatile instrument that is perfect for the musician who needs their guitar to be ready for any gig.
