Here for sale we have a Godin A6 Ultra Hybrid Electric Guitar in Cognac Burst finish. Made in Canada in 2017, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Chambered Silver Leaf Maple body with Laurentian Basswood wings and Solid Cedar top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Richlite fingerboard with matching bridge. An undersaddle transducer is featured, along with a Godin GAHN1 humbucking pickup in the neck position. These are wired to dual outputs and an on-board preamp with independent volume controls, 3-band EQ sliders, EQ pots and a blend control.
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with what might be described as a very soft 'V' profile that sits comfortably in the hand and promotes ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers. The Satin finish to the rear is tactile and pleasant under the thumb, and assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Richlite fingerboard with its 16" radius offers a smooth and durable playing surface that is nicely flat and consistent right the way up to the 22nd fret. The single cutaway body design with lightly contoured neck heel enhances access to the upper register, really opening up the full range of the instrument.
The chambered body and solid Cedar top provide a more lively and responsive playing experience than a typical electric guitar, whilst remaining much more stable and feedback resistant than a fully hollow body. The dual outputs and plethora of onboard controls provide an incredible level of versatility, with both electric and acoustic sounds on offer from the same instrument. The magnetic pickup offers bass and treble controls, whilst the acoustic pickup provides a full 3-band EQ slider for more precise tonal control. An excellent choice for the gigging musician who's after an instrument that can cover a lot of ground.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, several light indentations are apparent to the top edges continuing on to the top of the rear face. These do not pierce the finish. The front face demonstrates very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates consistent light scuffing and indentation throughout the register which can be felt beneath the thumb in playing position. This does not affect the overall playability of the instrument. The fingerboard demonstrates light playwear in the early register which cannot be felt beneath the string.
Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates some light to moderate indentations and scratching across the lower bout and treble side waist. The most notable of these has chipped the finish to the treble side lower bout edge, and the previous owner has coloured in the area with black to cover the bare wood. The back and sides of the instrument demonstrate consistent light scratching visible under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, with light indentations in the early register and flattening of the crowns throughout. This does not affect playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
