Here for sale we have a Gibson Memphis ES-335 Traditional Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Sunset Burst finish. Made in the USA in 2018, this guitar consists of a Laminated Maple top, a 3-ply Maple/Basswood/Maple body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Cream coloured binding, Pearloid Block inlays, Milk Bottle Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Tone Pro AVR-2 bridge, and a Locking Stopbar. The pickups that are fitted in this guitar are a set of Gibson MHS Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to independent volume and tone controls, as well as a three-way pickup selector. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Slim Taper profile feeling nicely full and articulate in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. Other more familiar appointments include the Rosewood fingerboard with 12" radius which is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques whilst providing a pleasant and tactile playing surface. The familiar lines of the 335 body design are as comfortable in the arms as ever, allowing plenty of space for easy access to the controls. 
 
Amplified, the pair of Gibson MHS humbuckers work in conjunction with the semi-hollow construction to deliver the full and thick sounds that we all expect from Gibson. The guitar resonates beautifully, filling out the sound with a deep and rich character. The neck pickup is warm and round, and can handle plenty of gain meaning you can achieve anything from jazzy lines through to soaring rock and blues solo tones. The bridge pickup is hotter, driving the front end of an amp with ease and producing the bright, biting tones that cut right through the mix to put your playing front and centre. The traditional dual humbucker control layout feels very responsive, allowing you to explore a wide tonal palette right on the instrument.
