Gibson Les Paul Studio Worn Cherry 2016 Electric Guitar
Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Studio in Worn Cherry. Made in the USA in 2016 this guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of a Mahogany Body with Maple Top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-O-Matic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece and Gibson Deluxe tuning machines. A pair of Gibson BurstBucker Pro pickups are fitted and wired to a 3-way pickup selector and independent volume and tone controls.
 
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand without feeling too cumbersome, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, whilst the single cutaway body design provides the player with unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those high end lead lines. 
 
Amplified, the pair of Gibson Burstbucker humbucking pickups deliver thick & full bodied tones, well suited to bluesy rock riffing. There's plenty of dirty snarling sounds on offer, with powerful lead tones in the neck position & searing, saturated distortions from the bridge. The traditional control layout is as practical & versatile as ever, allowing you to tweak & tune your sounds whilst playing. A typically well-made instrument from Gibson which feels full-fat despite its distinctly 'Diet' price tag.

    Aesthetic Condition:

    Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the front face of the  headstock, these can only be seen under direct light at close scrutiny.

    Neck: Overall very good condition. Light markings are present to the rear of thee neck, these can only be seen under direct light at close scrutiny to the center of the register and can very lightly be felt in the playing position. The Satin finish to the  rear of the neck has lightly polished to a Gloss texture through regular past use, common with Satin finishes.

    Body: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the bass side lower bout edge and the the treble side lower bout edge, these have not broken through the finish. The Satin finish has lightly polished to a Gloss finish, this is most apparent to the front face bass side lower bout, common with regular past use on Satin finishes.

     

    Condition of Frets:

    The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

     

    Current Set Up:

    Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) included.

    Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the pick guard, these can be seen under direct light.

    Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

     

    Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
