Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Studio in Wine Red finish. Built in the USA in 2005, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Gold hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece along with Gibson Deluxe tuning machines. The Pickups are a pair of Gibson 490R, Gibson 498T Humbuckers, wired to a bridge volume and tone and a neck volume and tone controls.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the profile resembling a rounded 50s filling the hand without feeling too cumbersome, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, whilst the single cutaway body design provides the player with unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those high end lead lines.
The Gibson 490R humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The 498T humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The front face also demonstrates finish delamination, most notably to the bass side and surrounding the winding posts. The top edge demonstrates mild indentations that have not removed the finish to reveal the wood beneath.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny, these cannot be felt by the hand in playing position. The fingerboard demonstrates mild indentations to the 11th fret, between the G and B strings. These cannot be felt beneath the string and in no way affect the feel or playability.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching and indentations. Most notably an indentation to the treble side of the front face lower bout edge where the finish has been removed to reveal the wood beneath, near an area of delamination.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use with light flattening of the crowns, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Mild scratching and tarnishing of the gold plating is apparent to the bridge, tailpiece and pickup covers.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
