Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Studio in Wine Red finish. Made in the USA in 1992, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Carved Maple top, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Gold hardware is fitted including a T-O-M bridge and StopBar tailpiece, along with Gibson Deluxe tuning machines with 'Tulip' buttons. A pair of Gibson humbucking pickups are installed, these are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile that could be described as a 'C' shape which fills the hand nicely for a substantial and confidence inspiring grip whilst chord playing. Certainly the profile is on the 'chunkier' side, and is well suited to the rock and blues riffing that the Les Paul is associated with. The gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 24.75" scale, and when paired with the playwear and use that this guitar has seen in the last 30 years, the playing experience feels nicely worn-in and familiar. The Rosewood fingerboard is a premium feature and adds a real sense of luxury.
The pair of Gibson humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick, throaty and full-bodied tones, just as we have all come to expect from a Les Paul. The traditional Les Paul control layout is as practical as ever, allowing you to tailor your sound without going near a pedal board. An instrument from one of Gibson's best eras, with genuine vintage vibe and patina from its 30 years of use.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you.
