Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar in Ebony finish. Built in the USA in 2009, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Gold hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece along with Gibson Deluxe tuning machines. The Pickups are a pair of Gibson 490R, Gibson 498T Humbuckers, wired to a bridge volume and tone and a neck volume and tone controls.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the profile resembling a rounded 50s filling the hand without feeling too cumbersome, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, whilst the single cutaway body design provides the player with unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those high end lead lines.
The Gibson 490R humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The 498T humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The tip of the headstock displays some small, light chips on the front edge. Similar light chipping can be found on the front edge of the headstock. All surfaces display light scratching under close scrutiny, as is common with a high gloss finish.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck does not demonstrate any marks or indentations, however does display light scratching and a clouding to the finish, as is common with high gloss nitrocellulose.
Body: Overall very good condition. The bass edge lower bout demonstrates an indentation and some scuff marks on the rear edge, the chip slightly exposing the wood beneath. Similar markings can be seen on the treble side edge, with some light scuff marks and an indentation which does not break the finish. There is a slightly larger chip on the treble side of the front face, exposing the wood beneath. All surfaces of the body display scratching and a clouding to the finish, as is common with high gloss nitrocellulose.
Condition of Frets:
The frets display minimal signs of wear. There is substantial material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (5/16" Hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. The pickguard and toggle switch control plate have been replaced as per the images, the originals are not included.
Structural: No structural concerns to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
