Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute in Wine Red Vintage Gloss finish. Made in the USA in 2012, this is the '2013 Model', which includes several specification upgrades from previous years. Naturally, a set-neck construction is employed, and comprises a Mahogany body with Gibson's 'Traditional Weight Relief', Carved Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard with Trapezoid inlays. Chrome hardware is fitted, including a StopBar tailpiece, Nashville ToM bridge & Locking Grover tuning machines. A pair of Gibson Burstbucker humbucking pickups are installed, with a BB 1 in the neck and a BB 2 in the bridge position. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume & tone controls, with a push/pull phase reverse control.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘60’s SlimTaper’ profile feeling nicely slender & providing a smooth and articulate playing experience across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and delivers a tactile & durable playing surface for the user to explore. The traditional 12” radius makes string bending and vibrato techniques a breeze whilst retaining practicality & comfort for chordal playing. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, whilst Gibson's 'Traditional Weight Relief' makes this Les Paul feel sprightly on the shoulders.
Amplified, the pair of Gibson Burstbucker I & II humbucking pickups deliver thick & full bodied tones, well suited to bluesy rock riffing. There's plenty of dirty snarling sounds on offer, with powerful lead tones in the neck position & searing, saturated distortions from the bridge. The traditional control layout is as practical & versatile as ever, allowing you to tweak & tune your sounds whilst playing. The push/pull phase reverse control adds an extra unique tone which works great for those funky out of phase sounds. A typically well-made instrument from Gibson which feels full-fat despite its distinctly 'Diet' price tag.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The top rear edges show light wear to the satin finish, likely from being inside the case. Very light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light & close scrutiny.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Mild indentations are present along the treble side edge of the fingerboard. Further light scratching is apparent across the surface of the fingerboard, most notably at the bass side of the 17th fret. None of these markings impact the overall playability of the instrument. A light chip exposes the wood to the rear of the neck behind fret 3, with light indentation present throughout the rear, most notable at the bass side behind frets 12-14. The satin finish to threat has worn to a light gloss consistent with playwear.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light chipping of the finish exposes the wood in a few places, most notably at the treble side of the fingerboard extension, visible from the front face. Further chipping is present around the rear edge of the body. A mild indentation is present in the centre of the cutaway. Wear to the satin finish is apparent to all aspects of the body, but is most notable in high contact areas such as the treble side waist and bass side lower bout, consistent with playwear. The rear face shows light to mild scratching and indentation consistent with light buckle rash.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
