Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Studio 50s Tribute Electric Guitar in Honeyburst finish. Made in the USA in 2012, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Chrome hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece along with Gibson Deluxe Kluson style tuning machines. The pickups are a pair of Gibson 490R, Gibson 498T humbuckers, wired to the standard Les Paul control layout.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘50s Rounded’ profile feeling slender and easily manoeuvrable and providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fretboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth surface for the user to explore. The 12” radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for bending and vibrato techniques. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, whilst the Ultra-modern weight relief makes this Les Paul feel sprightly on the shoulders at just 7.45lbs.
The Gibson 490R humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for blasting your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange which is great for chordal styles of playing as it delivers plenty of clarity. The 498T humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with its punchy output for a searing distortion sound on your rhythm parts. The traditional Les Paul controls provide ample control of your sound right on the instrument.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Mild scuffing and chipping of the finish can be to the top edges of the headstock, some of these have exposed the wood beneath. Light to mild scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can be seen under close scrutiny.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Mild chipping of the finish can be seen across the rear of the neck with the most apparent being seen to the higher register, these have broken the finish exposing the wood beneath. Light indentations are also present across the register to the rear of the neck, these can be seen under direct light and can very lightly be felt in the playing position. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck has dulled from past use, common with Satin finishes. A light indention is present to the fingerboard at the 6th fret, this can not be felt in the playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition. Mild scuffing, indentation and chipping of the finish can be seen to all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the the rear face edges most particularly to the bass side waist where the wood has been exposed. The Satin finish has polished to a Gloss texture to all aspects of the body most apparently to high contact areas, this is common with Satin finishes and regular past use. Light scratching is present to all aspects of the body, these can be seen under direct light.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) not included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
