Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s P-90 Electric Guitar in Gold Top finish. Made in the USA in 2020, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with a ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and Aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece. A set of Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with Keystone Buttons are featured along with a Gibson P90 in the bridge and a Gibson P90 in the neck position, these are wired to the standard Les Paul control layout.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Vintage 50’s profile filling the hand without being overly thick, this offers a balanced and smooth playing experience. The Medium frets and 12" radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the Rosewood fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway body design allows the player to access the higher register with ease, allowing for fast lead lines without any obstruction.
The pair of Gibson P-90 pickups installed in this guitar deliver a thick and raw sound, with a solid output that pushes the front end of an amp very nicely. The lows are full-bodied yet tight, the midrange is punchy and powerful- easily cutting through a mix. Along with the biting high frequencies, there is a well rounded tone on offer here which is well suited to a wide range of genres & playing styles. The pickups are very dynamic, more so than the slightly compressed nature of humbuckers, while offering more power than is usually associated with single coils.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
