Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Mahogany Top Electric Guitar in TV Yellow finish. Made in the USA in 2024, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Mahogany top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with Nickel hardware including an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, Aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece & a set of Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with Keystone Buttons. The pickups installed are a pair of Gibson BurstBuckers, with a 'BB' 2 in the bridge and a 'BB' 1 in the neck. These are hand-wired with Orange Drop Capacitors to the standard Les Paul 3-way toggle and independent volume/tone controls. 
 
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the '50’s Vintage profile filling the hand without being overly thick or cumbersome. This offers a balanced and smooth playing experience which is distinctly vintage-inspired without inhibiting modern playing styles. The Medium Jumbo frets and 12" radius provide a robust and smooth playing surface all across the Rosewood fingerboard, whilst enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The smooth curves of the Les Paul body are as comfortable and practical in the arms as ever, ensuring comfort and easy access to the upper frets. With no weight relief, the Les Paul Standard '50s provides a reassuring & authentic weightiness. 
 
The Gibson BurstBucker pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick, full-bodied tones, just as we expect from a '50s spec. Les Paul. The BurstBucker pickup series is Gibson's modern recreation of the original Seth Lover PAF which has attained legendary status amongst fans and players. There is plenty of warmth and roundness in the neck position, with ample power for driving your solo tones to the front of the mix. The bridge position provides open sustain and broad harmonic clarity, making chords sound crystalline and clear and driving your amp into a thick, saturated distortion tone when cranking the gain. The traditional Les Paul wiring layout provides plenty of scope for tone-shaping without any complicated switching.
