Here for sale we have a Gibson J-35 Vintage Collectors Edition Electro-Acoustic Guitar in Vintage Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2014, this guitar consists of a Thermally Cured Adirondack Red Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 19-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Grover open-back tuners, a Rosewood bridge, a Bone nut, mother of pearl inlays, and a LR Baggs Element VTC system. This pickup is wired to soundhole mounted controls for volume and tone.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a profile resembling a soft ‘V’ providing ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers allowing for easy navigation up and down the neck. The Rosewood fretboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The sloped-shoulder dreadnought design fills the arms, providing a dynamic and responsive playing experience, making the user feel the resonance that this guitar produces.
This guitar has a well-balanced and dynamic tone, producing a warm and rich sound, with a strong and clear midrange. The Thermally Cured Adirondack Red Spruce top and Advanced Top bracing contribute to the guitar's excellent projection and sustain, producing a bright and crisp high end that is well-articulated, whilst the Mahogany back and sides offer a warm and deep low end that make chords hum and chime. The L.R. Baggs Element VTC system allows the instrument's voice to be captured organically, displaying the natural voice of this guitar beautifully through an amplifier.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edge demonstrates an indentation to the treble side rear corner which chips the finish slightly. The front face demonstrates light scratching visible under direct lighting at certain angles.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the headstock.
Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates several moderate indentations which pierce the finish slightly. These can be identified to the bass side shoulder and across the lower bout. All aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching and indentation visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, with some indentation in the early register that does not affect playability. There is moderate material remaining for future fret work.
